Brock Sullivan is a navy SEAL he lives by his own code of honor and he won't see Jesse pregnant and alone struggle He doesn't have to help her but he knows he can offer her security w 25 at the most Mixed feelings about this The plot was awesome and had the potential to be a beautiful story However the plot was rushed her entire pregnancyhis deployment was practically skipped and his attitude once he came home injured were down right rude Left by her boyfriend Ted when he thought she might be pregnant after taking all her money Jesse Manning ends up working a double shift and passes out at Navy SEAL chief Brock Sullivan s feet Not taking no for an answer he takes her to the hospital and never leaves her side Always crushing on the beautiful young woman Brock had never let his feelings lead to action But now he can t help but want to help Jesse When one of his men get married Brock broaches the subject with Jesse Not only would she get his medical benefits but she could stay in his condo while he s deployed Accepting the proposal Jesse and Brock really connect as he shows her last minute details before he ships out Accompanying him to the dock where they sail off from Jesse promises to write everyday Never has Brock ever had someone care for him Time is showed changing by emails sent between the two as Jesse updates him on her pregnancy and other daily activities When Allie is born Brock does manage to make it home on a short leave to watch as she comes into the world Leaving again its about six months when Jesse gets that fateful call With his career possibly gone the use of his leg is uestion and all the other emotions that comes with an injury Brock s mood is understandably grouchy but the way their chanter goes from hot to cold was not enjoyable From his past loses Brock only pushes away the one woman who loves him and offers him a family Going after her Brock makes sure she feels welcomed into his family now that he s finally found his way home If you have this on the nook the formatting is extremely horrible with no paragraph spacing indicating time gone or a different point of view Very annoying and took away from the story
